Strategy for choosing a build system

Hello,

I will be disconnected from the internet for an
unknown period: no svn, no ssh - i cannot participate
to the KDE project anymore.

As few people already know, i am not 'clinging' on
Scons, and my very first wish is that KDE should be
freed from autotools.

Since everybody seems to be eager to start on KDE4 as
fast as possible, the cmake scripts from Alexander
Neundorf are suitable now, so i encourage everybody
who is actually interested in KDE4 to contribute on
the porting efforts and to express only positive
feelings on this list.
