[REQUEST] CMake Snapshot Update

No problem.   There is one issue.  That is the visual studio IDE problem.
No one has really answered me on that one.   If it is going to be a cmake solution,
where we have to add something to cmake, I would like to do it before 2.4.   
However, I think it can be done without any changes to cmake.

Any comments?
