Well, right now, the most desired things are adding new dock widgets for e.g. color selectors and adding scripts to save an image as multiple images. Not so much implementing image filters, import/export plugins or brush algorithms yet.

Sort of... There are plugins written against them, but the api hasn't been stable for the past ten years, at all.

Thanks -- that feels better to me, too. It's going to be fun, in any case, being back in the Python world for the first time since 2003 :-)
