plasma-desktop (4.11.4) on KDE Platform 4.11.4 using Qt 4.8.5

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Crashed when: Making changes to gmail notification widget
Crashed when: Positioning any new widgets since the use of gmail notification
widget has been used.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Since the use of gmail notification widget (python settings used) - doing
anything with the panels and widgets causes the desktop to freeze for about 30
seconds, including adding panels, hovering over panels, adding new widgets,
using widgets, after the freeze it catches up and loads everything i've been
clicking on during the freeze.

- Custom settings of the application:
Fedora KDE installation only a day old, customisation is minimal.

I have REMOVED the gmail notification widget and uninstalled it, future tests
with the panels and widgets suggest so far that this has resolved the issue
leading me to beleive the problem must be with the gmail widgets running
background processes.
