Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't thought of this. It's nice because it would work well usage-wise and it's very easy to do. However, I'm a bit hesitant about it in the long term because now that Qyoto is documented (I'm now working on separate documentation as well) I think it'd be nice for programmers to immediately see familiar types in the API. However, I'll add the implicit conversion for the time being.

What is wrong with adding an implicit conversion for C# DateTimes to
QDateTimes so that everywhere in the Qt api where QDateTime appears you
can pass a C# DateTime if you wish?
