You're right. I wrote the original mail
in a hurry and only did a superficial search on the mailing list. Having
just finished writing my test C++ code, I forgot to search for the type
mentioned in the ruby error and instead searched for return type of the C++
function (qint64), so I missed the thread you mentioned.
