Yes the problem is with cmake not finding all the Ruby headers for Ruby 1.9.x:

/usr/include/ruby-1.9.1/ruby/ruby.h:25:25: error: ruby/config.h: No such file or 
directory                                           

Stefano Crocco posted a long mail about the problem and suggested fixes a few 
weeks ago, but I don't think anyone has had time yet to have a go at fixing it 
all yet.
