We've added a series of 1.9 compatibility patches to SVN late last
year, and in December I've posted the small remaining part that
makes the complete Qtruby + Ruby 1.9 patch to the list.
It's also available at
http://techpubs.spinlocksolutions.com/ruby/kdebindings-qtruby-ruby-1.9.patch
(There are a couple other interesting pieces in that ruby/ directory.)
The Qtruby patch includes notes on simple build adjustments needed.
With it, I've been using Qtruby + Ruby 1.9 here without any problems.
The only thing left is for someone to find the time to modify the patch
so that it accounts for both Ruby 1.8 and Ruby 1.9, and so that it can
be committed to the SVN.
