[Kde-bindings] DCOP C bindings status

Hi,

I would like to use DCOP for my software: protocoltool 
(http://protocoltool.sourceforge.net/) , but I need C bindings for DCOP.

What is the current status on DCOP C bindings? It's reported as possibly 
broken, but what exactly is broken? Is somebody working on this?

I would like to contribute to get the DCOP C bindings up and running.
What is broken and how I can contribute to get it back working again?
