[Kde-bindings] Python - Play sounds using xine or arts?

Hi,

I already tried to mail this in the kde-multimedia mailing list but
may "kde-bindings" fits more for my problem:
I'm trying to create a program using python, that is able to play sounds.
I already made it to play sounds in gnome (using gstreamer) but I
found no way to play sounds in KDE (may using xine or arts?).
I found no way how to do this, may you can give me a link or a description?
