Smoke v2 can be split up I think, but Smoke v1 has to be done all as one lib 
though. But I don't think 10 megs stripped is too bad, if it can be shared by 
Perl, Ruby and Java -  and maybe loaded at startup by kdeinit if that was 
possible.
