Description:
KAlarm lets you configure personal messages to be
displayed, commands to be executed, or emails to
be sent, at scheduled times. It allows you to
choose the message font and color, how often to
repeat, whether to display an advance reminder,
whether to speak the message or play a sound when
it is displayed, and whether to cancel the alarm
if it can't be triggered on time (e.g. if you are
logged out at the time). As well as using the
graphical interface to configure alarms, you can
use the command line, and there is a DCOP
interface for other applications.

Changelog:
Version 1.4.15: Fixed triggering of deferred
recurring alarms.

Version 1.9 (beta):
Includes the new facility to use multiple alarm
resources, and to share resources. This allows,
for example, sharing alarm calendars between
laptops and desktop computers. Also includes a new
facility to set time zone for alarm times.
Summer/winter (daylight saving) time changes are
now handled correctly.
These have involved extensive changes to KAlarm,
so please help by reporting any bugs you find - or
reporting if it works well for you (using the new
user comment feedback facility if you like).

Version 1.9.7beta: New working hours only option,
simple repetitions replaced by recurrence
sub-repetitions, new option to select a colour to
highlight a resource's alarms. Fixed handling of
exception dates in recurrences. Other improvements
and bug fixes.
