Description:
KAlarm lets you configure personal messages to be
displayed, commands to be executed, or emails to
be sent, at scheduled times. It allows you to
choose the message font and color, how often to
repeat, whether to display an advance reminder,
whether to speak the message or play a sound when
it is displayed, and whether to cancel the alarm
if it can't be triggered on time (e.g. if you are
logged out at the time). As well as using the
graphical interface to configure alarms, you can
use the command line, and there is a DCOP
interface for other applications.

The development version (1.9 series) includes the
new facility to use multiple alarm resources, and
to share resources. This allows, for example,
sharing alarm calendars between laptops and
desktop computers. Also includes a new facility to
set time zone for alarm times. Summer/winter
(daylight saving) time changes are now handled
correctly. Plus various other new features. Please
help by reporting any bugs you find - or reporting
if it works well for you (using the new user
comment feedback facility if you like).

Changelog:
 Version 1.4.20: Fixes deferred non-recurring
alarms not working, plus other minor bug fixes.

Version 1.9.9 beta: The alarm editing interface is
improved, and an option added for generating alarm
text from a command. It contains major bugfixes:
hanging up at startup, recurring date-only alarms
not triggering, alarms triggering an hour out,
date-only alarms triggering every minute until the
start-of-day time, inability to enter today's
times in the alarm edit dialogue. Plus other
improvements and bugfixes.
Version 1.9.9 beta2: Fixes deferred non-recurring
alarms not working, plus other minor bug fixes.
