 The most important bugfixes are better support
for direct file transfer connections, and links in
the chat window. There are also some nice
improvements, like file transfer previews, now
playing information, and an option to disable the
nudge shaking effect. The features introduced with
pre1 also received incremental improvements. More

The file transfer previes are generated for any
file type supported in Konqueror. This includes
OpenOffice, HTML and video files! The chat window
supports geek-style links now. It happens all the
time people write "dot.kde.org", "planetkde.org",
or "slashdot.org". These links are 
clickable as well, without getting all kinds of
false-positives. As new option, it's also possible
to disable the shaking effect of a nudge.
