Description:
 The overall goal of this project is to provide
wireless Bluetooth remote control on Linux. In
contrast with other Bluetooth remote control
programs anyremote is not limited to SonyEriccson
or JSR-82 capable phones.
There are 2 version of this application:
console-oriented anyremote and
KDE-oriented kAnyRemote.
I addition there are collection of shell scripts
which provides "all-in-one" functionality
(managing
multiple applications with help of
anyremote/kAnyRemote at once). Currently supported
applications: amarok, xmms, noatun, kscd, digikam,
kview, kuickshow. Also emulation of some keyboard
keys (with help of kbde driver) present.
