Hi Ronny:

I believe the American Printing House for the Blind, http://aph.org, had
a software based typing tutor at one time. I'm unaware whether it has
been maintained. Furthermore, I suspect it's a Windows application.
However, they may be persuaded to port it to Linux, or might arrange
with you for that along with any i18n enhancements that might be needed.

If you like, I have a contact there I would be happy to introduce you
to. Please write me off list.
