[Kde-accessibility] simulate key events

After googling around a bit I think this is probably the best place to
ask. I'm using perlbox to excecute spoken commands. Perlbox maps a spoken
word or phrase to an executable and using dcop I can probably control most
kde programs perfectly. However, I would realy like to issue keyboard
events to get general control. Is it possible in kde to simulate key
events globally (like <ALT>-<Tab>, <PadgeDown>, etc.) from a simple script
or excecutable?

Thanks,
Mattijs
