Only that if it were an external application, then it would be easy to
have it there without bloating kdebase. But I don't exist on writing an
application, it is only that this is something I would be able to do
myself. Having it as a function in kdebase makes sense, since there are
already a number of settings for keyboard and mouse.

OK, great.
Do you think that it would be possible to put the mouse highlighting code
into a small application for testing?
