What really really needs to be done is
AUTOSCROLL
that will solve this problem
extra regions arround links is a way over engineered solution... though it was
worth mentioning, and I tought it was kinda interesting...
I know how to middle click and left click and right click... and not do the
wrong one... EXCEPT, that I have been conditioned that the middle mouse click
(with scroll wheels) is to do the autoscroll feature. I love that feature, and
I use it all of the time. I go through the trouble of putting it into
mozilla/phoenix with a plug-in
The current behavior is just plain wrong, and there are enough people who are
defending it as default behavior.. even though there is no way to turn it
off... so nobody is turning it off...
We need to focus on AUTOSCROLL this feature is needed badly in konqueror...
and it will squelch this stupid debate.
