Well, I am not sure if we want to add a dependency on KDE 3.2. Currently both
Proklam and kttsd do also work with KDE 3.0 and KDE 3.1. And (as both proklam
and kttsd are not stable yet) we do not have branches. On the other hand this
patch simplifies the code a lot.

So my question remains: Do we want to have the dependency to KDE 3.2 or do we
need to reject that patch?

If we apply the patch then we will certainly add it to kttsd as that is our
current development version (proklam is its old name).

By the way: Does anyone have objections against removing proklam from CVS? (Is
there something in proklam that is yet missing in kttsd?)
