I think having a KDE solution that does not work with Gnome programs=20
started under KDE, or vice versa, is a much bigger problem then depending=
=20
on Gnome software for specific tasks.
Implementing a KDE solution without bridging code means having two=20
incompatible concepts. That would mean that KDE apps are impossible to be=
=20
used by some handicapped Gnome users, and vice versa.
Making KDE apps usable by handicapped people somehow should have priority=
,=20
and that can be easiest reached by having bridging code.
That having said, that does not mean that we have to implement the=20
bridging code ourselves. Once our katk is in place, someone might pick up=
=20
our approach and help us.
Well, anyway, the direction to go for now should be clear...
