What's the problem with using a spacer and setting "Size Type" to "Fixed"=

in the Property editor?

It would be good if you could post this .ui file and the one belonging to=
=20
Proklam to kde-usability once KDE 3.1 is out, since there was a bug=20
report on usability problems of the old accessibility module. (You can=20
only open these .ui files if you have Qt 3.1 installed, so better wait=20
until all usability people have updated to KDE 3.1)
