[Kbabel] how to debug KBabel

Hi,

I would like to know the trick how I can debug KBabel. I tried
to do it with KDevelop but the application does finish very 
soon, even before I quit it. I guess it is due to the modular
structure of KBabel.
Any hints are most welcome.
