"previous" and "next" ar in terms of atomic numbers? Say, I wan't to see the noble gases, one by one? 

It would be nice if one could have both, the main window as well as the information dialog side-by-side, then, one may select any element in any order on the left side and its information is displayed in the dialog on the right side.

The point is: currently one has to close the info-dialog to inspect another element. prev/next buttons improve this matter, but "random access" doesn't work this way. think in terms of comparing elements in terms of size/weight/whatever, one most likely wouldn't do that one by one ... ?!
