            Bug ID: 489469
Summary: shorten overlong file names on Joliet without
                    affecting Rock Ridge
    Classification: Applications
           Product: k3b
           Version: 21.12.3
          Platform: Ubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Data Project
          Assignee: k3b at kde.org
          Reporter: gordoneki at web.de
CC: michalm at jabster.pl, trueg at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Rock Ridge supports longer file names than Joliet.

K3b offers shortening overlong file names on Joliet, but it also shortens the
names on Rock Ridge where it isn't necessary.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create a file with a very long name
2. add it to a data project
3. create a Joliet+Rock Ridge image

OBSERVED RESULT
The file name is shortened on all file systems: Joliet, Rock Ridge, and UDF.

EXPECTED RESULT
File name only shortened on the Joliet file system. Rock Ridge and UDF retain
the full file name.
