 I cannot confirm whether this matter has been addressed or resolved - it was
reported by me more than five years ago! It is now some time since I have used
K3b for DVD burning and Mint has now ceased using the KDE system.



I am now using Mint “Yuliana” release 20, with the “cinnamon” Gnome UI, so it
is impossible for me to run like-for-like testing or to try and replicate the
issue.
