SUMMARY
Problem of burning BD-RE 25 GB ISO images

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Insert an BD-R preformated BluRay 25 GB
2. Try to burn an iso image (for example : debian-9.8.0-amd64-BD-1.iso)

OBSERVED RESULT
According to the error popup window (see the pic below), it seems that K3B
considers that media is already burned and it does not propose to reformat it.
The inserted BluRay disc is blank and has been formatted with the same
application for first use.

EXPECTED RESULT
Burn the media

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux Debian Wheezy, Jessie and Stretch
K3B version : 2.0.3 (on the 3 distro)
Media : SONY Corp. BD-RE 25 GB 1-2x

Hardware used :
burners :
- MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ272 (via the USB port)
- MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ260AF
PC :
- HP Pavilion g7 (SATA)
- Z83II-Mini-PC (USB)
- ASUS K52F (USB)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
The K3B can format the media and I used it with Nero 4 for linux without
problem to
burn BluRay ISO like debian-9.8.0-amd64-BD-1.iso. (Nero doesn’t work to format
the media).
There is also an older burning problem of small 1.4GB DVDs. Burning fails when
closing the disc. The problem only applies to 1.4GB DVD-R, not 1.4GB DVD-RE.

------- Not tested with new versions of K3B 17.xx.xx or 18.xx.xx --------
