Hello Andrew.  This bug is OLD!  I do not have a machine with a DVD drive
running Ubuntu.  I am running CentOS 7.5 with the Mate desktop and K3B 2.0.2 on
a Dell Precision 3620. K3B was installed from the CentOS Base repository.  

I just went through the scenario described in the original bug.  Create and
burn a video DVD project then clear the project.  The exact same issue
occurred.  K3B became unresponsive and consumed 96% of one processor until I
finally killed the process.

It looks like the bug is still present and is perhaps independent of the
underlying operating system.  Please let me know if it would be helpful to test
this on Ubuntu.  I still have the old hardware described in the bug and can
install a current release of Ubuntu to retest.
