I use K3b 17.12 beta on Arch Linux.
This bug affects both audio cd and mixed mode cd projects.

1. create a new project
2. add some files to your project
3. right click on empty area below the files you just added.
Context menu is wrong because it includes some options related to added files
like "play track", "remove", "add silence", "split track" and "edit source..."
4. press ESC to close wrong menu, select some file from your project, click on
the empty area below the files, right click on the same empty area: context
menu is correct now, only "burn" and "properties" are available
5. Now close your audio cd project and repeat the steps 1 and 2
6. right click on any file from your project
context menu is wrong again because only "burn" and "properties" are available
