Not having a CD drive or CD-Rs to test is quite a problem for the k3b
maintainer!

They are easy enough to buy at any hardware shop.  I got the Kubuntu fund to
refund me the cost, you can try asking them if that helps although it would
need a way to send money from Scotland to China.
