Hi Jose,

1. I am maintaining k3b for KF5 right now https://github.com/KDE/k3b it will be
released as KDE Applications 17.04.0 soon! but v2.0.3 was not be maintained any
more! 

2. you can use CDEmu to test http://www.leetcode.cn/2016/08/k3b.html#test for
saving your DVD.

3. k3b is just the Qt frontend of cdrkit, dvd+rw-tools, or libburnia. so please
try cdrecord http://cdrecord.org/ instead of cdrkit
