Well, this time the road was less winded. It's a lapse in genisoimage
file multi.c combined with an optimistic expectation in udf.c.
My remedy is a proof-of-concept suitable for files up to 4 GiB minus 1 byte.

I would help a maintainer of genisoimage to fix it, but will not take
over the maintainer job myself. (Same with growisofs.)

Although it is worthwhile to check complaints from such tools, one has
to be aware that about 1 of 100 warnings is actually misunderstanding a
not-so-obvious necessity in the code. A few years ago i shot my own foot
when fixing a bunch of Coverity warnings.
