Yes! QProgressBar is too thin (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C-OSvLTU0AASr7Y.png)
to render even 8 pointSize font

To me it is not easy to read 8 pointSize font neither, even I took the pilot
test when I was a high school student! it was a extremely vision test much more
difficult than general physical examination. 

So there is plan B:

               put big enough font above the QProgressBar
------------ thin --------------------- QProgressBar
---------------------------


I will choose plan B if you agree with it :)
