Hi,

to clarify the video topic:
libburn and thus cdrskin and xorriso can write a DVD or BD video image
to the medium. But libisofs and thus xorriso cannot produce that image.

It would be possible to teach libisofs support for DVD video. The info
is in ECMA-167, UDF specs for 1.02, and in genisoimage. 
There are two specialties involved: UDF itself and the peculiar directory
structure of DVD video. (For both we need the drugs to addict the programmer.)

With BD video it seems that nobody in the free software world offers yet
to produce the UDF 2.50 filesystem. The specs cost substantial money.
So one would need the BD examples and BD players for reverse engineering.
(The programmer is assumed to have been made weak-willed already.)
