This is a bit off topic, but on the long run these "self building requirements"
are going to make k3b unusable for most Fedora users.

I will continue to try to build the new version as I have time. But to get my
blue-ray burning done, I've had a look at command line usage of growisfs in the
meantime. It works fine (I think the only problem is the "-C" parameter that
k3b passes to it, as can be seen in the log) and it is really easy to use. The
only obvious advantage that k3b still offers to me regarding my burning tasks
is proof reading.
