Help Getting Started with Gluon Development

Hello everyone,

I am another student who is willing to code for gluon.
I am a student of Computer Science and Engineering from Nepal. I have been
trolling around the IRC channel #gluon and have been subscribed to the
mailing list for a while now. :)  My IRC nick is ardahal on #freenode.

I am experienced with C++ based programming, git and have basic knowledge
of Qt and KDE development. While I am familiar with Open Source
development, I have never actually contributed to a real life project apart
from a few personal forks of a few small applications, which I hack on
github.

I recently learnt about gluon and  became its instant admirer. While I have
set up gluon on my computer (using the latest git source), it has come to
my notice that the mialing lists are quite silent and the commit logs are
quite few. As I am a beginner, I happened to find out that there is
currently no Testing framework for gluon. I would be really happy to start
out at this. Although, I am familiar with writing Unit Tests, I have never
had the oppurtunity to write one for a project of large scale. If possible
please suggest  documentation, that I may find useful to start going
through. Also, if there is someone already working on this, please help me
get in touch with him/her, so that I can give a helping hand.
