Hi,
for the mailing list: I'm forwarding this mail (without the
attachements, they were too big, but you can find 2 images in
https://my-abc-project-3984d.web.app/home, even if the page is not
translated in English).
Altun is not subscribed to the list so if you reply, please don't forget him!

Hi Altun,
welcome! Thank you for your kind words.

GCompris is developed in C++/qml/javascript (c++ for the core,
qml/javascript for the different activities). You can find the source
code in https://invent.kde.org/education/gcompris/.
To communicate, we usually use this mailing list or the irc channel
#gcompris on the irc.libera.chat server (also joinable via Matrix:
#gcompris:kde.org).

To propose new activities, feel free to reach us by one of these ways.
If you use the mailing list, it will be easier for everyone if you
subscribe (https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/gcompris-devel) so
you will have the answers automatically and not have to wait a
moderator to approve your mail.

Cheers,

Johnny

Subject: Interest in Collaborating with GCompris and Sharing Educational Tools

Dear GCompris Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

My name is Altun Shukurlu, and I’m a software engineer currently
working on an open-source educational tool designed to help children
practice foundational math skills through interactive quizzes and
activities. While researching similar projects, I recently discovered
GCompris and was truly impressed by the quality and scope of your
platform. Your work resonates deeply with my own goals of making
engaging, accessible learning tools available to children around the
world.

I’d love to explore the possibility of collaborating with your team.
Specifically, I’m interested in contributing my tool as a potential
extension or module within GCompris. I believe this integration could
add value to both platforms, and I’d be grateful for any guidance you
could provide on contributing to the project or aligning with your
development practices.

I’ve attached a few screenshots of my tool in action for your
reference. Please let me know if there’s a preferred process for
proposing new activities or modules, or if you'd be open to a short
call to discuss potential collaboration.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Warm regards,
Altun Shukurlu
Senior Software Engineer
