Gcompris and Ubuntu issues

Hello.
This is Samprati from Tamarind Tree School, Dahanu, India.
Just to let you know - we tried installing Gcompris directly from the
website, through synaptic package manager and finally through snap.
In all three, the cursor is not visible.

As per your suggestion, I ran the "gcompris-qt -c" in a terminal but the
Gcompris that loaded up was still without the cursor.

I also checked the file - ~/.config/gcompris/gcompris-qt.conf,- and it did
have the lines "defaultCursor=false" and "noCursor=false".
Attached is a screenshot of that.
After changing the values to =true also, the problem remained.
Thereafter, I completely deleted both those lines and ran the program
again. Yet, the problem persisted.
Sending you screenshots of the config file before and after changes as well
as those of the Gcompris home screen.

Also sending a screencast to show that the values in the settings of
Gcompris match to those in the gcompris-qt.conf. In this screencast you
will also notice the absence of the cursor/ pointer.

Also attached is the screenshot of the terminal once I type the path in the
respective directory. I hope that is what you meant by the logs of running
the file.

Is there anything else that we should check from our end?

Thanks and regards
Samprati
