Hello ,
I had previously mailed regarding my intention to participate in this years Season of KDE and had also mentioned my ideas in that mail.
I was told to make a small activity so as to get accustomed with QML and GCompris.I checked out the ideas page and found on it an idea regarding teaching Chromatic numbers/Graph-coloring to kids.I found it quite cool and hence I implemented a basic version(https://github.com/bdoin/GCompris-qt/pull/94) in which a child can drag and drop colors on the nodes of the graph and after coloring all the nodes he/she can then check whether adjacent nodes have different colors or not.Given time this activity can be extended to include further levels and in these higher levels the user ought to use only the minimum number of colors necessary.I request you all to please give me some feedback on this new activity.

Regarding my earlier ideas ,I had mentioned that I would like to implement a Tangram puzzle but then got to know that it was in the earlier gtk version of GCompris.I propose to port the puzzle in the Qt version as I think it will be a nice addition.
I had further proposed to create activities involving Hindi alphabets using pre-existing English alphabets activities.
Also I had proposed to implement story based simulations around mathematical operations like profit-loss,simple-interest etc and also a new activity for teaching series to kids based on joining the rungs of a virtual ladder.
