Hi Bruno,
I would like to mentor project, wherein new activities have to be created.
I have had some 'hands-on trial' creating activity for GCompris. I have
ideas about certain activities which could be implemented in GCompris with
various levels of increasing difficulty level and some tricks and tips and
hacks at the same time to make the activity more interesting and engaging.
Some of the activities which I have thought of are below -
1. Series of numbers
2. Encoding-Decoding
3. Puzzles
4. Arrangements
5. Blood Relations
6. Directions
7. Map of India
8. Hindi Alphabets/Vowels (specifically for Indian Users)
9. Multiplication tables
10. Squares
11. Cubes
12 Prime / Composite // Integrate 10,11 and 12 into one later.
13. Percentage and Fractions
14. Simple Interest
15. Compound Interest // Integrate 13 and 14 into one later.
16. Profit and Loss
17. Decision Making (maybe)
If GCompris is willing to participate in Season of KDE, we can discuss
further on these activities and enrich GCompris. :)
PS: Happy Diwali ! ( one of the most important festival in India ;) )
Regards,
