[gcompris-devel] GCompris part of GSoC under the KDE umbrella

Hi,

I did mention previously that we have not been accepted by Google as an 
independent organization for this year Google Summer of Code.

I also have mentioned that discussions was in progress to move the 
development of the Qt Quick version of GCompris under the KDE Umbrella.

I am not sure I announced it here but we have officially been accepted 
in the KDE incubator. We will start moving the development there 
starting by our github repository.

I also asked KDE to include GCompris as a potential project for this 
GSoC session 2014 which they accepted. The proposal is now online here:

So GSoC students, if you are interested in GCompris, I encourage you to 
train yourself on Qt Quick, start to participate in the development, the 
sooner we know you, better your chances are.
