Hi!

The source version installed fine on my gentoo linux:

  1. tar xjf ...tgz
  2. ./configure
  3. make
  4. (as root) make install

** land_safe **

I love this activity! :)

** place_your_satellite **

The introduction text in "place_your_satellite" is not
displayed very well:

> Click anywhere on the screen to place the satellite at a
> distance from the planet.
> Then click on the satellite and drag a line that sets the speed
> of the satellite.

The third line, ending with speed is too long. It does not
fit in the box.

Is there any way to "win" this activity. I tried a few
times, but after orbiting earth a few time it either crashes
or flies away. This is a little bit frustrating.
How about adding a goal like "try to keep the satellite in
orbit for 10 rounds". Kids are no rocket scientists. ;)
E.g.:
only 1 round => sad "bonus"
       ...
only 5 rounds => sad "bonus"
       ...
only 9 rounds => sad "bonus"
10 rounds => good "bonus" -> next level
11 rounds => good "bonus" -> next level
       ...
20 rounds => good "bonus" -> next level
       ...

But a very nice idea!

** intro gravity **

There is no explosion, when tux crashes into a planet. ;)
But I guess its more kid friendly without explosions.
And of course, I would never like to see tux crashing into
anything!

** mixing colors of light **

Very nice idea! :)
Level 4 is quite hard. But that's what increased levels are
for. ;)

Maybe there might be some problems with "viewing angle
dependencies". I mean: on cheaper LCD monitors, the same
color might look different, if it is placed in the center of
your monitor or if it is placed in the, lets say, lower
right corner of the monitor (without moving your head).

By placing the mixing-color and the target-color very close
to each other on the screen, this effect should be reduced.

Sorry, no time to test more today.

Regards,
	Peter
