[gcompris-devel] getting ready for GSoC and OPW

Hi,

This year again I plan to apply for having a sponsored student working
on GCompris.

Google Summer of Code organizations application period will take place
from February 27 to March 9. The accepted organizations will be
announced on March 16 and the student application deadline is April 6.

If you are a student willing to participate, it is mandatory that you
provide a contribution to GCompris as early as possible. You must show
evidence that you know how to get the code, compile it, modify it,
provide a patch and communicate on our development list.

By the way, I have no information whether GCompris will have or not a
student assigned and contributing to any organization would help with
applying to the ones that are accepted.
