FYI: I've got a bugreport[1] about this problem for the next openSUSE
version (11.4), too. The same package compiled on 11.3 does not have
this problem.

^^ so maybe this can be a hint about changes in GTK2 at all?
I haven't looked deeper into the problem right now, but we've
gtk+-2.22.1 on openSUSE 11.4 and gtk+-2.20.1 on openSUSE 11.3.
