Hello,

I just wanted to bring the following site to your knowledge, in case you
don't know it already. http://netia59a.ac-lille.fr/calculatice/

It provides some good resources to teach operations (+, -, *, /) to 8-11
kids. They are rather good, my son is addicted for my greatest pleasure.
I'd simply prefer him to play in gcompris on free software than on the
current technical solution but anyway.

These games were made by the académie de lille, institution from the
french government. It is possible that they release their source code if
you ask, but I'm not sure you really need it to integrate their ideas
into gcompris. The best would be if they could develop their next tools
directly in gcompris, but it may require some more persuasive power to
ensure it...

Oh, and everything on this site is in french. But I guess you have
enough french speakers in the team to deal with it.

That's it, dudes. Many many thanks for the fish, and sorry that I cannot
contribute to the project, it really desserves a lot.

Bye, Mt.
