It is no necessary to contact "last translator e-mail" or "contact them by e-mail and tell them you want to update the GCompris translation". 
If we want update GCompris translation, just register at " http://l10n.gnome.org/register/ ", join your language team at " http://l10n.gnome.org/users/team_join/ ", click your language at " http://l10n.gnome.org/module/gcompris/ ", select the operation you want translate this module at the end of page such as " http://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/gcompris/gcomprixogoo/po/zh_CN ". After you translate and post it, wait for someone to check and submit it into gnome's git repository.

Contact them with email isn't a good way, I think. sometimes, the email will can't get reply. if there is some question chat them on #i18n chanel in the server: irc.gnome.org .
