[gcompris-devel] gcompris 3.2 ebuild for Gentoo only English language :(

It is a locale issue. I am not familiar with gentoo.
First, check with locale -a that your locale is there. If not, it is
normal that it doesn't work.
Note that in the config dialog in gcompris, a cross is displayed beside
the flag if gcompris cannot set the locale.
Look at the traces. run gcompris in a console. gcompris tells that in my
case. If you get NULL, then it means gcompris cannot set the locale.
$ gcompris
gcompris_set_locale requested no_NO.UTF-8 got no_NO.UTF-8
To install a locale package, on mandrake, users need to install a
package named locales-fr for example.
