On the properties, I'm able to do from scratch something that could do 
exactly the same work... if I understand it well. You want a persistent 
way to read and write datas for the application? Am I right ? Do you 
want us to have exactly the same format as the one defined in gnome ? Do 
you want something a little more sophisticated ?
