Subject: [gcompris-devel] Hello there!

Hi all,

I've got gCompris running on Mandrake 8.2. There's some great games in
there.
My daughter is now building confidence with the mouse - she loves the
Memory
Cards game!

I few comments/suggestions:

I recently saw one of the BBC's educational software packages based on
the
Pingu childrens programme (Pingu is a pengiun!). There's some games in
their
package which would be great in gCompris - i.e. re-write the game in
gCompris
and use Tux instread of Pingu! But then I had a thought... In the Pingu
games, Pingu has other characters that he interacts with. What other
friends
has Tux got? Are there any other open-source/Linux characters that could
be
incorporated into gCompris to keep Tux company in future games?

Keep up the good work.
