OK for the grid, I can do that easily.

For the save capability, it is much more complex. For this, we need to
define an XML structure and implement its read/write for it and provide
a simple file open/save dialog box. We should not rely on gnome's one
(too complex) for that, and for example, changing directory should not
be available.
Also, my goal is to provide activities based on the draw board like
'reproduce this'. To do this, the XML must be 'well thinked'.
Now if we do that, somebody will ask us (probably in your next mail
Mantas) that we must be able to print and I don't know how to do that !!!
Another missing feature that nobody noticed is the ability to write text
and why not import/display images.
With this, it would be possible to replace the 'stickers' application.

So, seen the work it is to do these, I don't think it is good to delay
1.0 for that.

Mantas, it is not because we do a 1.0 that we will stop to work on it.
We know that there is still a lot to do in gcompris.
1.0 is a way to say: it is stable, is is usable you can deploy it in
your scools. Then let's discuss what's missing and what's important to you.

It is also good for the developers because we don't work full speed, we
are afraid to break what's already working.
We need to move on...

Good idea, this is done.
Last time I did that, it has not been very sucessfull :-( but it is good
to do it anyway.
